The Editorial Board and Management Board strictly adhere to ethical behavior rules. The Editor and editorial staff are prohibited from disclosing any information about a submitted manuscript to individuals other than the authors, reviewers, potential reviewers, other editorial advisers, and the publisher, as appropriate.

Authors are advised to adhere to the provisions set by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), which is considered essential for their work. The Editorial Board follows the best practice guidelines of COPE and endeavors to provide a minimum set of COPE standards.

The Editorial Board also follows academic writing and academic ethics rules, based on the work by Miguel Roig (2003, 2006) titled Avoiding plagiarism, self-plagiarism, and other questionable writing practices: A guide to ethical writing.

EDITOR

The Editor is responsible for removing any information that could reveal the authors' identities, affiliations, and acknowledgments before sending a manuscript for the review process. The Editor is also responsible for making decisions about which submitted articles should undergo the review process. These decisions are based on the paper's significance, originality, clarity, and its relevance to the journal's scope. Editors are diligent in scanning all submitted papers to identify any instances of plagiarism. If plagiarism is detected, the paper will be rejected for publication.

AUTHORS

Authors are required to confirm that they and their co-authors meet the journal's criteria for authorship and that no eligible contributor has been excluded from the author list. All listed authors must agree to the contents of the manuscript, including the author list and contributions made by each author. The corresponding author holds the responsibility of ensuring that all authors agree to the list and approve the manuscript submission. They also manage communication between the journal and co-authors both before and after publication. The manuscript should include a statement of responsibility, specifying each author's contribution. Authorship not only acknowledges researchers' contributions but also carries accountability.

REVIEWERS

Reviewers do not have access to information about authorship, affiliations, and acknowledgments. They must recognize that the review process involves handling confidential information and treat it accordingly. Reviewers should provide clear views with supporting arguments and must not have any conflicts of interest related to the presented research. Reviewers are also asked to check for plagiarism.

CORRECTION POLICY

The editor is committed to upholding the integrity of the literature and will publish editorially significant corrections when necessary. In such cases, the original articles will be replaced with the corrected versions.

ARCHIVING POLICY

Journal Archiving Policy: The Czech National Library typically archives the journal twice a year. Additionally, the journal is partially or fully archived in open-access databases such as ResearchGate, Index Copernicus and similar. The Journal is also archived to certain databases and archival tools using LOCKSS and CLOCKSS.
